The Photolithography Technician will create and produce all standard and custom products assigned to the Macro department (Image and Barcode product lines). The person in this role will be entrusted to use and maintain equipment within the department in a state of production readiness to meet customer image quality and delivery requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Review Work Orders to understand job requirements. Your first step in supporting customer satisfaction for the job.
  • Develop, document, and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions for production operations as needed or directed by the Macro Production Manager.
  • Read and understand manufacturing drawings, specs, and tolerances. Be familiar with geometric tolerancing.
  • Maintain and operate all production equipment within the department.
  • Be familiar with materials and chemistries used in the department.
  • Must understand and comply with the quality objectives of the department and company; our reputation depends on it.
  • Implement and enforce quality control, tracking, process improvement, and corrective action procedures to meet quality and business objectives.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.

Work Environment
We have a team-oriented workplace. We strive to be a place where all people can engage, belong, and grow.

This job operates in a dark room, lab setting for the imaging requirements of the position, and a white light lab setting for inspection and job review. You will routinely use lab chemicals, measuring devices, and imaging systems as needed in this role.

Physical Demands
General lab working environment using computers, phones, printers, etc. Some general light lifting may be required. General use of stairs will be expected.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during manufacturing hours (7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m.).

Travel
Not required.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma, GED.
  • No experience is necessary but microscope or measurement experience is a plus
  • Good computer and technical experience is essential

Preferred Education and Experience

  • AAS degree or some college experience in a technical environment
  • Strong Analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of Photography and photometrics is a plus.
