The T-45 ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 Test Resolution Standard consist of 24 Sunburst Lines, 0.25mm x 30mm, with a center crosshair target area and two off-center vertical and horizontal Ronchi gratings, 20 and 40 cycles per millimeter.
The method of using the T-45 Test Resolution Standard consist of a calibrated 8 power telescope, preferably with a reticle, having a minimum aperture of 19mm for plano-spherical lenses and a minimum aperture of 7mm for plano-toric or plano-aspheric lenses, a method for holding the protector in the test position and the T-45 Test Resolution Standard test pattern. The test pattern should be mounted 10.67m from the objective lens of the telescope and have sufficient lighting to conduct the test.
