APPLIED IMAGE, a global manufacturer of precision imaged optical components, test targets and charts, NIST traceable calibration standards, and photomasks is pleased to announce the expansion of its 2D barcode conformance calibration standard product line, with the addition of the AI-CCS- QR test card.
AI-CCS-QR brings together the primary reference symbols specified by ISO/IEC 15426-2 for barcode verifiers for 2D symbologies but exclusively contains nine QR Code symbols along with three Micro QR symbols to extend the overall qualification of the verifier under test.
The new test card is part of APPLIED IMAGE’s overall focus on product quality and responsiveness to customer needs and feedback.

Barcode users worldwide rely on verifiers to ensure the quality of their printed symbols. Several industries require their calibration standards to be NIST (or other NMI) traceable and originate from an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration laboratory.

The new calibration card, part number AI-CCS-QR Rev A, extends the Conformance Calibration Standard Test Card Portfolio to include QR Code, Micro QR Code, UPC/EAN, GS1-128, ITF-14, DataBar and Data Matrix and GS1 Datamatrix symbologies.
