The Decodability Bar Grade cards are offered in Grades A,B,C,D,F (4,3,2,1,0) of decodability bar type defects for use in testing bar code verifiers. To achieve a bar decodability defect several bars have been altered the entire height of the symbol (from top to bottom). The precision of this alteration causes the defect grade to be the same no matter which scan path is used to scan the symbol. Each card is individually serialized, major values are marked on the card, and all values are included in a written report.
