UPC-Mast-R

Description

The UPC-Mast-R consists of a 100% size UPC code on a 4’x4′ (100mm x 100mm) card. The symbol is calibrated to ANSI X3.182/ISO 15416 standards using a custom built microdensitometer. The card is supplied calibrated for use with a 6 mil scan aperture and 660nm wavelength (calibration with other aperture sizes or wavelengths is available). The card is laminated to an opaque backing, to prevent reflectance changes from placement on various surfaces. The image is precisely created in photo-emulsion. BWR (bar width reduction) has been applied to the bars of this card to increase the decodability. Blocking bars have been placed at the beginning and end of the code to test a verifiers ability to determine if a quiet zone is sufficient. The upper half of the code has quiet zones which should fail and the lower half has quiet zones which should pass. Each card is individually serialized, major values are marked on the card, and all values are included in a written report.
